NELHA Gateway Project

DewPoint Systems continues to grow the pioneering cold seawater grape plants which were first planted at the Natural Energy Laboratory of Hawaii in 1995, by  Dr. John Craven, Dr. Jack Dacidson, Dr. Phil Helfrich and DewPoint Systems Founder, Mr. Richard Bailey.  The grape vines were relocated to the Gateway Building,  January 2010, and plumbed to the SuperSpringAg system.  They continue to produce 3 crops per year (every 120 days) only using cold seawater.  These grapes vines are them most unique plants cultivated, defying the laws of dormancy in temperate plants.
